Moderate Interactions to Ensure Brand-Safe Environments

Community-driven ecosystems require trust, transparency, and responsiveness to harmful content. Unmoderated content can derail trust, violate brand guidelines, or alienate users. Safeguarding the brand content becomes an inherent responsibility and requirement which Genuin takes care of with utmost sincerity.

Genuin’s Control empowers brands to define moderation rules, participation settings, and approval workflows at every level, from brand-wide filters to individual video post comment settings.

Understand content moderation

Content within the platform, including posts, comments, and user profiles, is subject to moderation. Moderation operates through two mechanisms: automated AI flagging; and manual user reporting. Both ensure that all content complies with platform policies, brand safety, and community standards.

How content can be flagged by AI

All content ingested through BCC, Genuin Studio, and the SDK passes through the moderation queue, where Genuin AI analyzes content labels across vision, transcript, and audio. They are evaluated against three levels of guidelines before and/or after being published in the Genuin ecosystem.

The three levels of guidelines are:

GUIDELINEDESCRIPTION
Platform guidelinesDefault global rules which are applied to all communities and brands in Genuin ecosystem.
Brand guidelinesThe ground rules that define the expectations for behavior within your brand’s communities.
Community guidelinesThe set of rules that govern all Groups belonging to a particular community.

How content can be reported by user

In addition to automatic AI flagging, users can report any video if they feel uncomfortable for any reason. Users can report content by:

  • Click or tap on the three dot menu in the video and Report Post option.
  • Choose the reason to report the post from the following options:
    • Inappropriate content
    • Unprofessional content
    • Spam
    • Threatening, violent or suicidal content
    • Other
  • Submit the reason and report

As soon as the report is submitted by the user, it appears in the Brand Control Center’s moderation module under Content Moderation.
