Placement is a curated and personalized video experience that can be configured and embedded into any page or channel within your O&O digital ecosystem, dynamically mapped into consumer journeys and related taxonomy.
How to Generate Placements?
Use the Brand Control Center to create and configure placements across your site and/or app.
- Step 1: Set Up a Placement Style
- Click “+ Create New Placement” in the BCC
- Name your style (e.g., “Homepage Discovery” or “PDP Feed”)
- Add sections to categorize content based on relevant topics (optional)
- Map consumer journey (essential)
- Pre-purchase
- At purchase checkout
- Post purchase thank you
- Re-engagement & loyalty
- Discovery
- Select target categories or content types for the style (optional)
- Tie categories to curate content into the categories, topic, and keywords
- Apply content mapping rules (optional)
- Restrict video content to:
- Pinned videos:
- Maximum limit of “pinned videos” to 25
- Map pinned videos only for the section in style (context window accuracy = 100% = no contextual continuity)
- Same page URL linkout
- All videos should have PDP linkout
- Map videos with same PDP linkout URL with PDP page URL (product filtering)
- Same brand videos
- Map videos with same brand in the PDP page (i.e. samsung videos in samsung PDP page, Hisense videos with Hisense PDP page)
- Videos from recommendation engine
- Overwrite our feed personalization logics to the brand's own recommendation engine.
